Speaker Cabinets
TONE+TONE+TONE
At Union Guitars & Amplifiers all our cabinets - for both heads and speakers - are made from solid timber and finger-jointed for strength and tone. We use pine for most of our cabinets as it has great tone, is a plantation timber (and therefore sustainable) and, importantly, is very light to carry.
All baffleboards are floating and made of AA grade voidless plywood.
We use quality tolex, vinyls and grill-cloth in a huge variety of styles and colours and can do clear-lacquered and tweed finishes for a small upcharge.
