It is with great reluctance that I must pass on price increases in many areas. Many items that I supply and use are sourced overseas (esp USA) and with the Australian dollar getting pummelled on the money markets, I cannot absorb the losses any longer and must increase some prices. Celestion products have gone up dramatically. Eminence are up, too. I shall try to keep discounting strings and accessories during service work, but will have to review these prices too, very soon. Apologies.
Settling in at our new home

Things have been busy here at Union. The move was an unexpected but timely change and has thrown a cat amongst the pigeons on delivery times. But with each week that goes by we are getting back to smooth and efficient operation. Stocks are a little low on some things, but we are still offering unbeatable prices on Celestion speakers, Eminence speakers, Elixir and D'Addario strings, and servicing of your guitars and amps. Vintage, boutique or current production instruments - we cover them all. Want a custom built amp, cabinet or guitar? The best place to get them is right here in the green hills of Perth.
Here at Union Guitars we are able to do virtually any repair to your beloved instrument. (Loads of broken headstock repairs lately - see the repair gallery.) And have become specialists in refrets with stainless steel. Call for a quote.

It's with a heavy heart indeed that I must review my current prices. The exchange rate for the Aussie Dollar has not been kind for a long while now, and shipping costs continue to rise, so I must take action or take financial losses. Celestion prices have been updated today. Strings and accessories in the workshop are being re-priced as I write this (they don't appear on the website.) Pedal prices will remain as listed until current parts/materials are exhausted (so be quick). Custom cabinet prices will be reviewed very soon.
Amp pricing is under review - always best to call for exact pricing anyway, as amp spec's are often different for every build.
Let me take the opportunity to thank you all for your support and your business, as it is much appreciated. Rest assured I intend to remain in business, doing what I love and helping you to do what you love, and will do my utmost to keep prices as competitive as possible.

What's New?
Hi guys and girls of tone town.
Let me begin by apologising profusely for not blogging for such a long time! I humbly ask your forgiveness, but it is due to the massive workload I've been under lately. Still holding down 4 gigs week and FULL time in the workshop is pretty demanding.
Anyway, I have been working on lots of interesting instruments - both repairs and new builds - and have heaps of new products coming on line.
We now stock Celestion speakers - so you can get them from us at VERY competitive prices. Email the models you're after for pricing at this point, but I hope to revamp the store very shortly with comprehensive online ordering and payments.
There are heaps more pedals available now, so I hope to put pics and samples up real soon, along with 2 new amp models (and a third one not far behind).
Lastly, I'm doing some lovely custom guitars at the moment, but once they're done I will be offering a whole new range of gorgeous new models sporting lots of inlays, purfling, specialty timbers and nitro finishes.

Hey Dudes,
Check out the new Wowser pedal on the FX pedals page. It's an
envelope filter (also known as an auto-wah). These give a nice
subtle wah effect that is sensitive to pick intensity. Great for funk
styles and really well suited to bass guitar. More goodies coming

- and am almost ready to launch the online store.
You'll be able to use paypal or credit card and items will be shipped
direct to your door.
I will be kicking off with many accessories and smaller products
(custom cables, FX pedals, strings, etc) and most of the amp and
speaker cab line up will be available for order by deposit. No guitars
at this stage - but won't be too long I hope.
